Oceanside: Fratellis Italian Kitchen
Pretty nice place. Went with a group and got artichoke hearts and fried mozzarella appetizer. I got the spaghetti and meat balls. Everything was pretty decent. For dessert, ricotta cheesecake. Amazing and a different texture than traditional cheesecake.

Went here for breakfast and got the crispy French toast. Delicious! Could have used more whipped cream but only because I like a lot.

SJC: Ruby Tuesdays
Got the buffalo wings and grilled zucchini for dinner. Wings had way too much sauce! Zucchini was pretty standard. Also got dessert. It was delicious! I love anything a la mode.

Andalu
Located in San Francisco. We went to this tapas place for bunch. We had come here before and it has gone downhill. Everything was just ok and wasn't as good as how we remembered it. We got cheese fondue, fried Mac and cheese, three kinds of bacon, this weird corn polenta thing and donut holes. We probably won't be going back again.

Visiting Tida
Went to visit Tida at her new house and I got treated to homemade goodness. Pho, eggrolls, papaya salad and kong wan. Deliciousness! I got to take left overs and the kids who slacked getting to the dinner table where shit out of luck. Haha.

Went to visit Phonethip in SF and we got Chinese take out. Not sure where we went since Richard picked up the food. I liked the salt and pepper chicken the best.

Located in downtown SJ. I got the bun bo hue. Pretty decent but it's hard to compare since my standards are so high with the one from pho Kim long. Still good though.

Seattle: Acme Bowl
Bowling alley that has a sit down place to eat with decent food. I was r hungry so I just got the calamari. Pretty good!

Seattle: Paquitos
Mexican place we went to in Seattle. Chips, salsa and guacamole were all pretty good. I got a chicken tortilla soup and it was flavorless. I didn't even drink the broth, just picked out the meat pieces. Also got an order of French toast made from challah bread. OMG, one of the best French toast I've ever had! The whipped cream was fresh made and very thick, I didn't even use the syrup! The bread was thick but light and fluffy. Amazing!

Shianghai Dumpling House
Located in Millbrae, their specialty is xiao long bao. It was good! We also got some noodles and green beans. Everything was delicious. I was normal person full. Definitely need to go back.

Los Altos Grill
Second time coming here. We got the corn bread again. Also got a cheese dip and chips appetizer, pretty good. I got the prime rib again but this time it was a bit more fatty. We got a sundae for dessert. Two hardy scoops of vanilla ice cream with a gravy boat of rich chocolate syrup with thick fresh made whipped cream. Amazing!

Henrys World Famous Hi-Life
Located in downtown San Jose. There is a bar at the front and a restaurant in back. I got the prime rib cooked rare. It was good but a bit odd...it wasn't bloody and juicy. It was rare but dry, if that makes sense. Meal comes with salad and garlic bread. Garlic bread was amazing!

Bills Cafe
A small chain of restaurants in San Jose that does good breakfast. I got their crab cake Benedict's which seemed to be their specialty. Pretty good. We also got a side order of French toast to share. Standard.

Cocola Bakery
Located at Santana Row in San Jose. We went there just for dessert. Got a variety and they were all sweet goodness.
